Spoken Word Poetry

Here is an angsty poem I wrote about the Ross grading system called 'The Bell Curve'. I don't have a ton of experience in spoken word, but I've enjoyed the time I've spent in the genre. I'm more proud of this than I am of pretty much any essay I've written throughout college.

Other Work

Here's some other stuff I've done throughout college:
Women's Studies Research Paper

Here is an essay I wrote about maternal mortality for an ULW 400-level Women's Studies class with no prior Women's Studies experience. I basically through myself into the deep end with this choice of class, but remain pleasantly surprised with how this essay turned out.

Consulting Slide Decks

Over the years, I've participated in several case competitions with a few friends. These competitions consist of intensely researching a niche industry or topic over a short period of time, and then creating a pretty powerpoint presentation with recommendations on how to solve various business problems. I've found that neat-looking charts with text in parallel structure should be prioritized over actual content or ideas. Here's my favorite deck.

Academic Argumentation

This is an essay I wrote for English 225, Academic Argumentation. It's an essay about the toxic nature of investment banking culture. It's a bit of an awkward viewpoint given that many of my friends are future bankers, but I stand by most of the arguments I made in this essay.
