About Me
As you might have figured out by now, I’m Jake Marples and this is my e-portfolio. I was born in Vancouver, grew up in England, and now live in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
As a student, I’m currently a junior at the Ross School of Business pursuing a BBA with a Minor in Writing.
As a professional, I’m an aspiring management consultant, intending to specialize in the healthcare industry.
As a writer, I’m one of those nerds that actually doesn’t hate academic essays, but also enjoys exploring other genres like blogs or spoken word poetry. As somebody who gets anxious even thinking about drawing (I struggle with stick figures), writing is my main creative outlet.
As a consumer, I’m a fan of House of Cards, the Internet, Ice Cream Cake, and finding $85 dress shirts on sale for $12 at Kohls.
As sarcasm enthusiast, I cannot get enough of The Onion, John Stewart, John Oliver, and Steven Colbert.
Twitter is a form of writing - one that I probably would have written off as frivelous before taking this course.
If I had to define myself using four twitter accounts, I'd probably use these ones. Which ones would you use?
